About the changes to Eastserve

Email

Website
The Eastserve website is now maintained by MCIN on behalf of East Manchester New Deal for Communities. It has been redesign and relaunched using our in-house content management system. This means that a number of the features you are used to have changed:

Events – All you need to do is click on the Events link in the menu on the left hand side of the page. You will be taken to a list of one-off events, such as fun runs, tea dances or other community events. At the top of the page there is a link to Regular Events – this is a list of events that happen on a regular basis, such as exercise classes or homework clubs.

Jobs – Click on the Jobs link to view a list of job vacancies in and around the whole of the Manchester area.

The Noticeboard – This section is now the Bulletin Boards. In this section you will find a wealth of useful information. And there is a bulletin board specifically for local information.

Forums – The new site also has discussion forums. Click on the Forums link in the menu to access them.

News – There are a number of ways you can access news on the new site. The front page has a number of highlighted items, which will be of interest to people in east Manchester. There is also the Community Reporters section which provides news from the local community as well as items of more general interest. The Bulletin Boards also have news items as well as information.

Community – Information that was in this section can now be found in the Directory. Our directory contains links to organisations that will be of use to people throughout the east Manchester area. It is divided into a number of categories and sub-categories.

Services - Information that was in this section can now be found in the Directory. Our directory contains links to organisations that will be of use to people throughout the east Manchester area. It is divided into a number of categories and sub-categories.

Games – We do not host any games on the new Eastserve site, but you can access a number of games sites through the Directory.
