Debuting at Manchester Central Library this
June
and July is a one-of-a kind exhibit:
“And then he kissed her…100
years of Mills & Boon”
bringing together for the first time original
editions,
book covers, cartoons and memorabilia from
the Mills & Boon
archives documenting how women
transformed the society and sexuality of
20th century Britain.
This accessible and interactive exhibit
offers a tantalizing slice
of popular history. There’s even writing
workshops for
those who think they’ve got what it takes to write
romantic fiction.
