Subject - Be Cause Awards

UnLtd and Bebo (a social networking site like Facebook or MySpace) have developed the Be Cause Awards to provide small awards of £1,000 to individuals for community projects.

Individuals with an idea for a project should set up a Bebo profile and nominate the project.

The Be Cause page on the site has a toolkit you can use to help plan your project. Every month a panel from UnLtd and Bebo select five nominated projects. Bebo users then vote on these, and one winner receives £1,000.

Every year a Judges Choice Award of £5,000 will be given to the project with the best potential.
