Subject - Setting up Outlook Express

1. In Outlook Express, click on Tools then Accounts

2. In the dialogue box that appears, click on Add then on Mail...

3. Now simply follow the connection wizard. First give the account a name e.g. Eastserve Webmail. Click on Next>

4. Then type in the e-mail address that you want to retrieve your e-mails from - in this case it will be your User Name, followed by @eastserve.com . Click on Next>

5. Now for the technical bit! Select IMAP from the incoming mail server drop down menu.
Then type mail.eastserve.com into the Incoming Mail Server box.
In the Outgoing Mail Server box, you need to type in the SMTP server for your ISP - you can usually get this from your ISP's website.
If you are on Eastserve Broadband, then just type mail.eastserve.com again. Click on Next>

6. You'll need to let Outlook Express know how to get into your account on Eastserve so in the next box type your User Name followed by @eastserve.com into the Account Name section and type your Eastserve password (the one you use to log-in to the site) in the Password box.
Click on Next>

7. Click Finish and you're done!
